The health departments of Natick and Framingham have partnered with PSCP to offer free one-on-one peer grief support to individuals grieving a substance-use-related death. The bereaved person is referred to a local Peer Grief Support Specialist (PGSS). A PGSS is someone who has experienced the death of a loved one to substance use, and has completed extensive training in how to provide compassionate, empathetic support to grieving people.
