PSCP’s Trauma-Informed Care Guidelines

Trauma-informed care is at the heart of everything that we do at PSCP. All programs account for participants’ possible trauma exposure; activities avoid re-traumatization; staff are able to deliver basic assistance and, when necessary, make a referral to a higher level of care. We developed a short-list of ten guidelines for providing trauma-informed care. Our trainings go into trauma-informed care in greater detail.
